Anglian Water - Love Every Drop
Water is a precious and life-giving resource. But less than 3% of water in the world is fresh water. Even less is accessible. The UK National Security Strategy says that, by 2030, increasing populations will mean that global demand for water will rise by up to 30%.
The East of England is the lowest lying region in the country with the lowest rainfall. It is therefore even more vulnerable to climate change.
That’s why the people at Anglian Water are taking a groundbreaking approach to the issue: rather than acting on possibilities that are just a few years away, they’re thinking decades in advance.
Anglian Water has developed a unique sustainability strategy covering not only the company’s approach to its business, but the environment and local communities – and setting out goals and commitments for future success. It’s called Love Every Drop.
This approach places water at the heart of a whole new way of living: ensuring a consistent future water supply for local people and businesses; promoting local knowledge about the realities of water use and climate change; and ultimately achieving long-term, sustainable business success.
But this isn’t just about the company becoming sustainable. It’s about working to create a sustainable region and encouraging sustainable living.
We’ve had the pleasure of working with Anglian Water from the start of Love Every Drop, across all our service areas – strategy, research, creativity and corporate social marketing.
