Department for Education and National Youth Agency - Actions Speak Louder

In today’s media, many perceptions of young people seem negative.

To respond, the Department for Education (then DCSF) created the ‘actions speak louder’ brand in partnership with the National Youth Agency (NYA). The brand recognised those young people who did amazing things in their local communities, as part of the Youth Challenge Competition.

Using the words of young nominees to describe their projects, the brand was applied to several competition materials, including a booklet featuring the stories of the winners.

Corporate Culture supported the project by working with young people and partners, managing the competition and creating the brand. The £2 million campaign reached young people through 65 local authorities, and generated extensive national press coverage.

The Corporate Culture team were very enthusiastic, bringing imaginative ideas for the national event, flexibility on methods of delivery, the ability to manage a complex project in a short timescale and excellent work on branding and production.”
