Corporate Culture in Design Week
Design Week have published a nice piece on the new brand identity that Diabetes UK have commissioned Corporate Culture to create. The identity will launch in February 2012.

“Barbara Young, chief executive of Diabetes UK, says, ‘A new brand for Diabetes UK is not just about a change in colour scheme and a new logo, but goes right to the heart of who we are and what we do.
‘Our assertive new look will help us communicate our active campaigning approach to help people with diabetes live long and healthy lives. We believe it will help raise our profile and so enable us to make an even bigger impact in all aspects of our work, from funding pioneering research in a search for a cure for diabetes, to campaigning in Parliament for diabetes to be kept high on the political agenda.’”
Corporate Culture has appointed Mark Varney as Director of Sustainable Business
We are delighted to announce the arrival of Mark Varney, who joins our London office as Director of Sustainable Business.
Before joining Corporate Culture, Mark spent seven years at The Fairtrade Foundation, leading its commercial engagement with manufacturers, brand owners and retailers in the food and beverage sector. Working closely with companies to expand the UK Fairtrade market, he assisted Tate and Lyle, Sainsbury’s, Starbucks and Nestlé with major Fairtrade product launches, providing advice and support on supply chain and product certification, internal communication, customer engagement and marketing.
Before that, Mark worked for Procter and Gamble, where he held a variety of commercial roles in a broad range of product categories, working with clients in the corporate and public sectors.
Out of the office, Mark enjoys spending time with his two young sons and competes in the occasional sprint triathlon.
