Richard GrahamRichard heads the consultancy business and the London Office. He is a highly experienced communications professional in corporate communications, brand, marketing and change management. He has held senior positions in both the private and public sector and has provided strategic communications advice to a succession of Government Ministers and senior figures in Whitehall. As Head of Communications for Children, Families & Schools he was responsible for both strategy and delivery of communications across the Every Child Matters and school agendas. He developed better forward planning and more proactive press strategies; introduced a new multi-channel approach to communications with schools - reducing dependence on lengthy documentation and spreading good practice. Richard initiated and led the development of the £20m per annum Teachers TV - the first channel of its kind in the world; established a series of award winning magazines and websites for schools, Local Authorities, parents and young people. And, he was also responsible for inspiring and leading the development of the Parents Direct concept (now known as 'Parents Know-how') - a new multi-channel information service for parents. He had responsibility for overseeing the department's marketing campaigns for parents and young people including the Teenage Pregnancy and Frank campaigns. In NatWest, Richard headed the NatWest UK communications function before taking responsibility for Group Customer Service and brand development across the Group (including the NatWest UK, Coutts, Lombard, Ulster bank and Greenwich NatWest brands). |
