How to develop strategies for change at scale in the built environment
Our September 12th Roundtable focuses on sustainable change, with a keynote from Ursula Hartenberger, the Global Head of Sustainability at the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), titled ‘How to develop strategies for change at scale in the built environment’.
Ursula has been instrumental in shaping the Institution’s strategic approach towards sustainable development issues, including its strategy on energy efficiency, sustainable construction and urban development.
She recently initiated and led a joint UN Global Compact and RICS sectoral project to translate the Compact’s Ten Principles and 17 Sustainable Development Goals for construction sector stakeholders. She also helped shape the Global Alliance for Buildings and Construction and the first ever Buildings Day at COP21 in Paris.
This roundtable event, to be held in central London, aims to bring together a small number of people who would welcome an open discussion on the subject, and network with peers along with the opportunity to share their own insights and experiences. The session starts with early evening refreshments from 5pm, for a prompt start at 5:30 until 7.30pm.
Please contact Elaine Smith by Friday, 1st September if you would like to register your interest in attending.
